Kanemoto in the Guinness Book

Tomoaki Kanemoto was registered in the Guinness Book for having played full innings of 1492 consecutive games.

In brief, he says he was lucky to not suffer from major injuries that could have forced him to rest. He stopped playing full innings on April 18th of this year, because of an injury on the shoulder. When the journalist asked him when he will be part of the starting members again, he answered that it will take time and emphasized that his teammate Wei-Chu Lin (also an outfielder) was in good condition.

Kanemoto will receive the certificate on June 29th, the day of the game against the Dragons in Koshien Stadium.
