Hanshin vs Yakult: 11th match.

It was a bid disappointment by the Hanshin starter, Yuya Andoh. He gave up nine runs in only four innings. It was a piece of cake for the Yakult Swallows line-up. Hatakeyama even batted a full base homerun. Andoh has difficulties against the Swallows: he was the losing pitcher each time he pitched to them and his ERA is 11.70 against this team. We can also see that he is quite bad when he pitches in Koshien: his ERA is 8.35 in his home stadium.

Y. Andoh
ERA 7.96
1 Win
3 Loses
0 Saves

Ryo Asai was the only batter from Hanshin who batted three hits today. He have been starting member as the 7th batter and center fielder since five days.

R. Asai
AVG .368
21H - 1HR
RBI 6
4 Runs

It was also nice to see the second baseman Uemoto and the relief pitcher Wakatake supporting and reassuring each other.

Today's highlights:

Since the Giants lost yesterday against Hiroshima, we are now at 2.5 from the first place. As the Yokohama series start tomorrow, the gap is unlikely to grow.
