I'm glad to begin this message by this great news: Hanshin is finally in the first place of the Central League!
This is the consequence of the victory 5 to 2 against Yokohama and the Giants' defeat against the Dragons (10 - 3). Congratulations to them, an specially to today's two heroes: Brazell who hit two homeruns and Arai who drove in the run that gave the lead to Hanshin. There are Brazell's homeruns, in the 4th inning (tie) and in the 8th (for more fun):

Brazell has batted 32 homeruns and is now in the first place of the Central League homerun ranking, along with Ramirez from the Giants.

The starter found the good tempo again. In 7 innings pitched: 1 earned run, 3 hits, 11 strike outs and 1 base on balls.
Top: Hirano's 2 hits.
Currently the best AVG of the Central League. Keiichi Hirano batted two hits out of his 4 turns at bat. He was the one who scored the run produced by Arai in the 6th inning, allowing Hanshin to take the lead.
Flop: Murton: no hits.
He was Hanshin's best batter until recently, but he had not batted any hit since four matches, including today's one.
Flop: The homerun gave up by Kyuji in the 9th inning.
Kyuji Fujikawa is in 4th place of the Central League closers' ranking, and has 10 saves less than the "God of Death" Iwase (Chunichi Dragons). The Tigers won the game but unfortunately he could not get the chance to win a save.
