1. Today's game was suspended because of the rain. After losing yesterday against the Giants, the Tigers are again at 1.5 from the first rank.
2. Fans have elected by internet another player from each league to participate in the All Stars Game: Craig Brazell from Hanshin for the Central League, and Kensuke Tanaka from Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters for the Pacific League.
3. Ace Atsushi Nohmi should be back on August 13th. He will play with the second team before, in order to check that he has recovered. If satisfactory results, he will rejoin the first team.
