Hanshin in the storm.

The Tigers lost 3 to 6 against the Baystars at the Yokohama stadium.

The game was played in a heavy rain, and was suspended for a long time between the top and the bottom of the 2nd inning. Before the break, Hanshin was winning 2 to 0: Brazell hit his 43th homerun and Johjima his 25th.

Yokohama tied just after just after the match has restarted. Even if the Tigers hit more hits than the Baystars (13 against 8), the latters managed to score more runs. Regarding the line-up of Hanshin, the 6th batter Kanemoto has not been in good condition since some days. Today he only had a hit in five at-bats. On the other hand, the 4th batter Arai had the best outcome today: 3 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats. He was hit by a dead ball in the right forearm, but fortunately he was able to hit at his next turn.

Because of today's loss, Hanshin is now at 2.5 games behind Chunichi... And the Giants are at 0 games behind Hanshin.

  1. Good morning! How about the weather? It is very fine in Japan. Today is happy day because you can meet Nohmi from morning. !!!But!!! I'll go to an aquarium now, with my family. So, please cheer Hanshin and Nohmi by you. I'm hoping to do Nohmi the splendid pitching like the fish which swims in the water. And Hanshi beats the Yomiuri Giants!

    Thank you.
