Tigers 1 - 3 Giants
Nohmi did not choose the right day to lose for the first time this year. As always, his two first innings were quite worrying: 3 BB and he had runners in 1st and 2nd each time. Except for Brazell who hit a homerun from Tohno's first pitch in his first at-bat, the Hanshin line-up was asleep. The Tigers hit many fly balls. They got 5 hits, against 10 for the Giants. Hanshin's 4 other hits were from Hirano who hit 2, Lin and Shunsuke.
