You may be aware that the Asian Games 2010 (also known as Asiad) will take place in China in Guangzhou city from November 12th to 27th. Of curse, baseball will be among the featured sports.
Hanshin's number 1 draft, Daiki Enokida, was designed as Japan's national team first pitcher. This 24-year old left-handed pitcher was the best of the Tokyo Gas team, a semi-professional team. He has 5 different breaking balls: curve, slider, cut fastball, fork and screwball.
Another young pitcher of Hanshin will also participate to these Asian Games, but as representative of Taiwan: Ikketsu Shoh, also 24 years old. Like Enokida, he is aiming for the gold medal and declared that he will have no hesitation in confronting his new teammate.
