As you already know, Ken and Tsutsui had to leave the Aki camp due to injuries. To replace them, the pitcher Kazuhito Futagami and the infielder Ryota Arai joined the camp.
The manager Wada said he only could watch Futagami's pitching during the last year Open Games, and therefore he was looking forward to see him now.
As for Ryota, he had his swing speed measured by the radar gun, like his team mates. He turned out to be the fastest one: 144 km/h. "No big deal. Batting is a matter of timing after all", he said to Sanspo.
