Kyuji Fujikawa has been diagnosed with a bruised knee bone, and it appears that Daiki Enokida will replace him until he recovers. Our young setup pitcher has an ERA of 0.69 and is the league leader in holds (17).
"There is no difference between pitching in the 8th inning and pitching in the 9th inning. One inning is one inning"- he said. And then added: "It's not like Kyuji will stay with us forever..."
When asked if the gap left by Fujikawa was not too big for him alone to fill, he answered with a large smile: "Fukuhara and Tsutsui are here too. Together we can do it".
