Since they won 3 - 1 against the Giants today, the Tigers still can win the Central League. They only have to win the 7 games left.

Nohmi has improved, he has become a trustworthy pitcher. His pitching was not as good as always (6 innings, 83 throws, 6 hits, 3 K, 2 BB, 1 dead ball), but considering that he was not able to handle the pressure before he did a good job by limiting the damage to one run.

As usual, he did not forget to thank his teammates: "My teammates helped me a lot. I can always count on Kubota and Kyuji too", he said to a journalist from Sanspo.

Sekimoto and Saka performed very well, in defense as well as in attack. Sekimoto played as first baseman and hit 2 hits. Saka was in charge of the second base and scored a run.
