Okinawa camp - Day 4

Young 25 year-old pitcher Daiki Enokida only needed 3 pitches to scare the Giants' scorer.
This is the second year of Enokida as a professional player. Last year, he quickly became Tigers' best relief pitcher, and ended the season with the second largest number of holds after Dragons' Asao.
"I could only see 3 pitches, but it was enough. And I can tell those were some good pitches", he said to Sanspo.

But another surprise was awaiting for the Giants scorer. He was also impressed by young Masahiro Nakatani (age 19) during the batting practice. "We'll see if can be that good during real games. But in any case we should keep an eye on this player", he said.

Tigers scorers Susumu Mikoshiba and Masao Iida (both former Hanshin players), also went out to observe the players from other teams.
Mikoshiba payed attention on Hiroshima Carp's new pitcher Kam Mickolio. "He has good control on his low pitches. That can be a problem for right-handed batters", he said to a Daily Sports journalist.
Iida visited the DeNA Baystars. He noticed the pitcher Yuki Kuniyoshi. "He reminds me of Darvish in some aspects", he said to a Sponichi reporter.

Aniki Kanemoto shoulder seems to be doing fine. His batting practice went well, and batting coach Kataoka confirmed that he was getting better.

Go for the top, Tigers!
