Bottom of the 1st: rookie Hayara Itoh registered his first hit during his first at bat. Then, Shunsuke was safe with a buster (he is a genius, just sayin'). Morita also registered a hit, loading the bases. Nakatani hit a grounder to the pitcher, but in the same time Hayata rushed to the home plate and scored the first run. Arai Ryota received a base on balls, and then Kurose batted in the second run. Komiyama took a hit by pitch, and the bases were loaded again. Finally, Shimizu and Yamato had 2 RBIs.

Ryota hit a homerun on the 3rd inning, and it looks like he also did a fine play as 3rd baseman.

Hayata produced his first RBI in the last inning. In 5 at bats, he registered 2 hits and 1 RBI. As expected from the Tigers draft n°1!
