Spring Camp 2010 (6)

Today's game matched the two ace pretenders, Nohmi and Andoh. Both of them pitched three innings and none of them gave up any run.

Andoh gave up two hits: Sekimoto and Lin who almost scored a run.

The southpaw pitcher gave up three hits: two from Murton (the first one was because center fielder Tagami dropped the ball), and one from Hirano.
He did not fall short of his reputation by striking out Hirano, Toritani (still batting 3rd, by the way), Yamato and Tori again.

Both have equal performance.

The high point of the game was Kanoh's home run against Egusa (I feel sorry for Egu).

Nohmi formed the battery with, of curse, his inseparable friend Kanoh. Even if Johjima becomes the Tigers' tenured catcher, at least we can say that Kanoh is Nohmi's tenured catcher...

  1. A funny question arise : So if Kanoh become Nohmi "tenure" catcher and Shimoyagani declared he would like to part with Yano San, so Johjima San isnt essential in hanshin's squad -_- Anyway, hope Johjima San's batting power could show he worth the price.

P.S. I love how Murton cheers after the 1st hit LOL

  2. There are 36 pitchers in this team, so Johjima can pair up with the 34 others. Isn't that great? :D

No joke, Mayumi will not take account of the players' desires. If he listened advices of other people, captain Tori would be batting 1st (yes, it's a kind of obsession).

And yes, Murton was funny ^^
